Where Can I Find General Counsel Approved Contract Templates?

Many of the more commonly used, Office of General Counsel approved, contract templates can be found at the "Contract Templates and Guidance Documents" link on the Contracting website. Template documents typically contain standard provisions that are generally acceptable to a majority of TTUHSC's business partners and professional service vendors. Simple explanations of the various contract clauses and processes are available in the "CONTRACT TEMPLATE GUIDE", to assist in discussing a particular clause with outside parties.

How Do I Request a New Vendor Set-Up in the Contracting System?

Departments can request a new vendor to be set-up by completing the information on the "New Vendor Request" online form. When submitted, the request is sent to the Vendor Team. A member of the Vendor Team will contact you once the request has been set-up.

Can I Sign an Agreement Document as an Employee of TTUHSC?

No person has the authority to commit Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for any purpose (e.g., enter into agreements) except as authorized in Regents' Rules, Section 07.12, and HSC OP 10.11, "Delegation of Authority by the President." Contract managers are cautioned that no commitments or other action should be taken on the contract until final execution by the authorized officers or approval by the Board of Regents has been obtained.
