Categories of Permits
Reserved Space permits: Assignment to a specific parking space in a specific lot; issued to full-time faculty and staff and part-time staff not enrolled as students.
Area Reserved permits: Assignment to a specific parking lot with no specific space assignment; issued to full-time faculty and staff and part-time staff (at a reduced rate) not enrolled as students.
Commuter permits: (non-transferable) Assignment to a student commuter parking lot with no specific space assignment; issued to full-time and part-time students. Lots included: A-1, A-2, A-3, D-3, E-3, F-0, F-1, F-2, F-3, Z-1/Z-2.
Vehicle registration permits must be permanently affixed to the front windshield in the lower corner of the driver's side. All permits are self-adhering and application in any other manner may subject the motor vehicle to ticketing. Vehicle registration is not complete until the permit is properly and completely affixed to the motor vehicle of record.
Motorcycle registration permits are issued for the academic year. They may be purchased at any time during the year at a rate that is prorated monthly. Motorcycle registration permits must be permanently affixed to the top of the front headlight, front fender, or shock absorbers. Motorcycles and mopeds must be parked in areas designated for parking of such vehicles, they are not permitted to park in time limit areas unless registered to a vehicle that displays a reserved or area reserved permit.
All outdated registration permits must be removed from the motor vehicle prior to installation of the current year permit.
